Giving to the Johnston (Station) Historical Society

1. Donating Historical Item: If you are interested in donating items relating to Johnston history such as documents, photos (school, family), especially of old Johnston scenes and buildings, or have booklets, posters, or other memorabilia, please contact the Archivist at the address below. Larger items may be accepted if they are, in some way, associated with Johnston. The Society is also interested in obtaining display cases.

2. Donating Money: Donations can be made by cash, check or by using PayPal. Donors that contribute $1000 or more in a calendar year are listed on the John Johnston Club plaque maintained at the 1902 Simpson House Museum.

3. Gifts of Stock or Securities: Gifts of appreciated stock or securities can give you income tax deduction benefits. Your broker can contact us for the required information.

4. Gifts from a Donor-Advised Fund: Donor-advised funds can have immediate tax benefits while allowing donors to support nonprofits like JSHS at your convenience. Direct donor-advised funds gifts to Johnston (Station) Historical Society (EIN 42-1424702).

5. Legacy Gifts: Four Legacy Gifts You Can Make:

I. Leave a bequest (a gift in your will) to the Johnston (Station) Historical Society. That bequest can be a percentage of assets or a simple dollar amount.
