The collection of historical items is the heart of the Johnston (Station) Historical Society (JSHS). It documents and illustrates the history of the Johnston area before the first European descent settlers arrived in 1846 to the present day.
The Collection Includes:

- Newspapers - Family histories
- Scrapbooks - Local business’ artifacts
- Furniture - Community group records
- Documents - Audio and videotape oral histories
- Books - Tools
Visit our 1902 Simpson House Museum during Johnston Commons Park events or by appointment.

We have not scanned copyrighted items, such as book and newspaper articles.
You will have to get a copy from the copyright owner, another source, or read it at our museum.
Also, multiple page items were not loaded as a photograph, but as a pdf document in the Attachments section.
Finally, with over 200 items in our collection, some mistakes or oversights occur, so please let us know if you find one.
